Sunny Girl

Material:
Kerkyra Alabaster. This was the largest piece of this extremely heavy stone that could be lifted by hand into the back of a car. It was found during a long walk after a severe storm. The great beauty of this material lies in its translucent colour; in this case a golden sunshine yellow. On even the coldest days in Germany, if there is sunlight on this figure, she shines with the warmth of a Greek summer.
